Job Overview:
We seek a skilled Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and HTML and at least 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development, including building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. A solid foundation in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is essential for this role. The candidate should be proficient in troubleshooting, optimizing website performance, and ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable HTML and CSS code.
- Create responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
- Integrate third-party plugins and APIs into WordPress sites.
- Ensure website functionality and performance are optimized across all platforms and devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, security, and compatibility.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to implement design changes and improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in web development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web development, focusing on WordPress and HTML.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience with PHP and MySQL is an advantage.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience in website optimization techniques (speed, SEO, security).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with theme and plugin customization in WordPress.
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
